Data Details

With Software/Program Name, we run a service that gives you the ability to test and analyze network and internet connections and monitor their performance based on the generated test results. We may use the results generated by you as the basis for our research and analysis business in which we provide network performance insights to our customers in a multitude of ways and formats. Software/Program Name is currently available on iOS, Android as well as the Web. In addition, we license our technology to interested businesses in order for them to enable their customers to leverage our technology to perform internet performance tests.

Data we collect when you run a speed test with Software/Program Name on any of your devices, on any platform or the web: Test Data: Metrics like ping, download and upload speed, amount of data transferred, test duration etc. Location Data: If a device supports precise location (based on GPS, mostly the case for smartphones) and you have granted access, we record precise device location. We also record non-precise location information based on the IP address a test is run from. Additional Metrics: We also collect additional points that are interesting in order to measure and analyze network and internet performance. These include but are not limited to the IP address you run a test from, the network operator (ISP) as well as device, network and hardware identifiers such as Wi-Fi names (SSID) or SIM card identifiers (IMEI)

If you have Software/Program Name installed on your smartphone, tablet or other mobile devices and you have granted us the necessary permissions, we also sporadically record precise location data with our apps running in the background to analyze network and internet performance.

We have identified the data collected, processed and analyzed by Software/Program Name and provided to our business partners to be of legitimate interest to our business and are therefore able to process the data along with your user information on the legal basis of legitimate interests to operating our business.

In addition to the aforementioned data which is core to our business, we also generate additional revenue by collecting & sharing ad IDs and location data with selected 3rd parties that use the data to show you only relevant ads. We ask you for your explicit consent in order to do so.

Use of Data

Sense360
For users in North America, our apps may share your device’s precise geolocation and other details about your device (like hardware characteristics, a variety of sensor data, and a list of installed third-party applications) with our partner Sense360 on an ongoing basis, including when the apps are closed. This information is sent with the device’s advertising identifier or another unique device-specific code. Sense360 may use all of this information for market research and other research regarding aggregated patterns, and as further described in its Privacy Policy, which has more detail on the entire process. For example, Sense360 analyzes restaurant visit trends to better serve its customers’ needs. You can use your device settings to (i) disable or limit precise geolocation collection for the entire device (which will affect some device functionality) or just particular apps (which may affect the functionality of this app) and/or (ii) disable or limit use of the advertising identifier (which will block that identifier’s transmission to Sense360).

Tutela Technologies Ltd.
Tutela Technologies Ltd. is a world leader in improving wireless networks based on users’ perspective of performance. Tutela may collect data relating to the wireless network performance your device experiences, in a pseudonymized manner, that may include the following categories of personal information and/or personal data:

  1. Geolocation data. Precise location information (GPS and network-based) may be collected to aggregate and plot network performance on a map to convey coverage.
  2. Identifiers. Device identifiers including Mobile Advertising ID may be collected to help mobile enterprises identify network technologies (e.g. 5G), understand drivers of churn/acquisition, and design effective marketing campaigns.
  3. Internet or other electronic network activity information. The state of this application during a network test (e.g. “in use”) may be collected for data validation purposes. Tutela never sees or records any content viewed by users.

Using this app and permitting Tutela to collect pseudonymous data may help improve the performance of your wireless network and apps. Tutela combines data collected from millions of devices to create reports and solutions trusted by mobile enterprises around the world. This pseudonymous data may be shared with mobile network operators, network equipment manufacturers, and other third parties who use it to benchmark, compare, and understand the mobile industry, design effective marketing campaigns, and plan and optimize their networks.

X-Mode Social, Inc.
X-Mode Social, Inc. collects and passes to third parties a variety of information for use as described below: What’s Collected: Precise location information (such as your device GPS coordinates), relative location information (from WiFi signals or Bluetooth Low Energy devices in your proximity, for example), device-based advertising identifiers, information about your mobile device such as type of device, operating system version and type, device settings, time zone, carrier and IP address.

When We Collect It: When the app is in use or running in the background.

How We Use and Share It: We and other third parties may use the information (a) to customize ads in this or other apps (for instance, if your device is often located at or near music venues, you might receive offers for music tickets); (b) to measure effectiveness of those ads; (c) for disease prevention and research, security, anti-crime and law enforcement; or (d) for market, civic or other research regarding aggregated traffic patterns (for instance, a company that analyzes shopping trends might want to learn whether more or fewer devices are seen near malls or in other shopping districts).

To help us improve our service we collect the following information on an anonymous basis: Operating System, Date & time, Latitude, Longitude, Accuracy (GPS), SSID (network), BSSID (network), Internal MAC address (network), Bundle ID, Device Model, Device Manufacturer, Carrier Code (Android only), Carrier Name, Sim Code, Country, and Locale. In addition to helping us to measure the usage of our app this anonymous information is shared with third parties for their business purposes, including the creation of reports, market research and trend analysis. One of these third parties is Huq, data shared does not contain information from which users can be identified and we will not provide additional information to such third parties that enables such third parties to identify you. Ogury
We use Ogury's technology to provide users with a personalised advertising experience. The information Ogury collects includes your device identifiers, location, email address, installed apps list and usage statistics, IP addresses (and in some cases URLs) contacted by your device and crash reports. Disclosure Of Data

Business Transaction
